Australian Buhurt Supply is run by people who train and compete in armoured combat here. We started it because kitting new fighters in this country is slow, expensive and a gamble on overseas sellers you have never met.
We organise made-to-order soft kit in your club's colours, prove every product on our own training floor first, and put our name in the sport on the line with every order.
Why we bothered
Buying kit for this sport in Australia is a mess. The good makers are on the other side of the world with wait times measured in months, the cheap listings are stolen photos with foam you would not trust in a pillow, and every club treasurer has a story about money that vanished offshore.
So we built the thing we wanted as a club: one Australian point of contact who knows the sport, mockups in your colours before you commit, a quoted lead time you can plan a season around, and pricing with GST and delivery already inside it.
Soft kit first, because that is where every new fighter starts and where clubs bleed money on loaner gear. Steel can come later; we are not going to pretend we are ready before we are.

Australian Buhurt Supply is run by Mason, captain of the Wild Wyverns Armoured Combat club and on the field as a fighter since June 2023. The kit we sell is the kit his own club trains in, and every order carries his name in a sport small enough that reputation is everything. If the gear is not good enough for the Wyverns' training floor, it does not get sold to yours.
What you can count on
Your colours, approved first
Send your crest and colours and you get mockups of the full set before anything is stitched. Production starts when you sign off, not before.
Plain talk, no dressed-up claims
This is training equipment. We describe construction, materials and sizing, and we never decorate soft kit with protection ratings it does not hold.
Honest lead times
Gear is made to order offshore and freighted in. We quote 2 to 4 weeks to your door and tell you straight away if a run is tracking slower.
Prices include GST and delivery
The number on the quote is the number you pay, delivered. Anything faulty is on us under Australian Consumer Law.
Gear that earns its place in the bag
Before anything goes live it has to clear the same short list. Most things do not.
- It survives training nights with our own club before it gets listed. If it fails on our floor, you never see it.
- Every order is checked against the reference kit we keep, so batch two has to match batch one.
- The sizing is measurable. Every piece carries a size table so a club order lands right the first time.
- The lead time is quoted honestly, including the freight leg, before you commit.
- No gimmicks and no costume-grade shortcuts. If it only looks the part, we pass.
